Even if you do not have a car to donate, you can still be an Auto Angel. In addition to the refurbished cars, Auto Angels helps these families with child car seats, auto care products, insurance payments, maintenance accounts, gift cards and more.
So many of our fellow citizens and neighbors are one paycheck or one car headache away from serious financial problems. If getting to work becomes an issue because of car trouble, then providing for their family’s basic needs becomes a critical issue leading into many other financial problems.

Local collision and repair industry professionals first came together in 2010 to help area residents who have struggled against bad luck, tragic illness or disability. Held under the not-for-profit Polk County Chapter of the Florida Autobody Collision Alliance (FACA) these men and women donate their time, expertice, products and services to provide nicely reconditioned automobiles to Polk County residents. In 2010, 5 cars were presented to very grateful recipients. In 2011, the group was able to help 11 in our community.
